Inventor Yves Cayouette of Moonbaem, ON has created an apparatus to prevent the theft of beach towels, luggage, and other personal items in a vacation/beach environment.

Many people enjoy spending a warm summer day at the beach or pool. Some spend time outside tanning. These events share common items such as beach towels and beach bags. However, when a person wishes to go into the water or otherwise walk away for a few moments, one runs the risk of having their personal items stolen. Similar difficulties appear when traveling and personal items such as a coat, jacket, or luggage, must be left alone for a short period of time. Inventor Cayouette has created a means for items to be easily secured against theft or unauthorized movement.

This clever new invention secures items at poolside and along beaches. It greatly reduces theft. It is provided with a conventional padlock and a heavy-duty impact-resistant plastic clip. No tools are required. The use of the Securable Locking Clip allows for the securing of beach towels, beach bags, luggage, and other personal items to prevent their theft and provide peace of mind to the rightful owner in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
