Story Behind the Invention

ABILENE, TX Inventors Robert J. Prevost & Patricia A. Prevost announce their patented invention known as Stand & Drip Pan For Cooking Accessories.

Inventors Prevost developed this clever innovation, which is an apparatus designed to hold the lids of pots or pans during cooking that also features a place to rest cooking utensils. The invention is approximately thirteen inches tall and is made of a steel rod that is formed into a triangular shape with a rounded loop on top. The base of the triangle is formed with two rearward-facing support arms, formed at an angle, which allow the upper support to tilt back approximately 25-30. The bottom of the base is sized to hold a six-inch plastic drip plate. Two small support hooks are provided near the base of the invention to hold the lid in an upright, but angled configuration. As such, any condensation, grease or oil that drips off of the lid will simply fall onto the drip plate. The drip plate can also be used to hold spoons, spatulas and other cooking utensils that are used in the cooking process. The use of the Stand and Drip Pan for Cooking Accessories enhances convenience and reduces messes when cooking with pots and pans.
