Story Behind the Invention
Inventors Edwin A. English and Janet G. Gutierrez of Peoria, AZ have created a portable, solar-powered electricity generator that can be used to power small appliances during a power outage, or it can be used in remote locations, such as while camping.
Gasoline powered electrical generators are ideal for running appliances, tools, lights, and even entertainment devices when power is not available. However, as versatile as generators are, they are not without their disadvantages. First, they consume gasoline, a limited resource. Second, they produce hazardous exhaust, thus polluting the environment, and requiring them to be used outside. Finally, they produce an excessive amount of noise, which prohibits their use under most residential conditions and most campsites during nighttime hours. Inventors English and Gutierrez have created a means by which electrical power can be produced without issue.
This clever new invention powers small electrical appliances, televisions, computers, lights, and more. It works anywhere and anytime there is sunshine. There is no environmental impact and no noise. The invention is supplied with voltage adapters for common electronic devices. The use of the Solar Powered Extension Cord provides for clean, uninterruptible power virtually anywhere, without the inconvenience of gasoline powered generators.
