Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Jon N. Wilson of Ogdensburg, NY has created a towing frame that easily transports a cart, wagon, or similar wheeled item behind a bicycle.

Problems quickly arise when using a bicycle to transport equipment. Bicycle baskets traditionally located on the handlebars greatly diminish the amount a person can transport. Moving oversized items can make a bicycle unwieldy and dangerous. Oversized items are more easily transported in a large portable device like a yard cart. In fact, it is much safer to tow a yard cart or similar wheeled item behind the bicycle. Inventor Wilson has created a means by which a single-rider bicycle can easily transport a wheeled device via a towing frame.

Inventor Wilson was inspired to create the Towing Frame for a Bicycle while camping. He thought this device would be ideal for moving his portable waste tote tank used with his motor home.
