Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Herminio Garcia of Willard, NM has created a small hands-free sink that is located alongside a toilet. It allows a user to wash their hands immediately before touching anything.
After using the bathroom, hand washing is extremely important as a means to reduce the spread of waste, bacteria and germs which can lead to disease and illness. However, there are a bunch of surfaces that are touched between the time of toilet use and the time of washing ones hands. Others then touch these surfaces at a later time which is very unhygienic. Now the Hand Washing Station for Bathroom prevents cross contamination of bathroom surfaces in a manner which is not only quick, easy, and effective, but safe and sanitary as well.
This clever new invention eliminates touching a flush handle, door/stall knob, and clothing before hands are washed. Its touch-less faucet is operated by motion sensor. The water supply and drain line connection are made to the toilet with no impact to the piping systems of the premises. The device includes a soap dispenser and towel dispenser. The invention finds use in homes, public restrooms, hospitals, nursing homes, hotels, and more!
