Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Nicholas Benjamin Schultz of Samborn, NY has created a plastic 5 gallon bucket which splits in half along a vertical axis to aid in carrying tasks as well as carrying two different types of materials or items.
The 5 gallon plastic bucket is a common item at almost any home or worksite. It is commonly used to transport materials such as paint, drywall compound, tools, and supplies. When emptied, they are used as fishing tackle boxes, tool boxes, work seats, and cleaning buckets. However, their single compartment means that they can carry only one liquid or fluid material at a time. Should they be used to hold tools or other items, all items must be placed in the bucket together. Perhaps their biggest disadvantage is that these buckets are often very heavy when filled. Even if the user can lift them, he or she is off balance when trying to walk. This off-balance position places the users back muscles under severe stress causing twisting and turning, and perhaps even injury. In turn, Inventor Schultz created the Segmented Bucket with Removable Halves.
This clever new invention makes it easy to carry two completely different items. It prevents injuries. It locks together tightly and is strong and durable. The invention makes buckets easier to use by the elderly, disabled, or very young. The use of the Segmented Bucket with Removable Halves provides 5 gallon buckets with increased versatility and functionality, in a manner which is cost effective and easy to use.
