Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Jamie C. Weagle of Red Deer, AB has created a retractable extension cord apparatus for use on vehicles to provide electrical power to engine block heaters.

Those of us who live in cold weather climates know the difficulty of starting vehicles on cold days. Vehicles in these areas are often equipped with engine block heaters. Block heaters keep the engine warm, preventing fuel and/or lubricants from gelling. This feature makes it extremely easy to start the engine, even on the coldest of days. Typically, block heaters are connected by a long extension cord which must be coiled and removed every time the car is moved. Unfortunately, this can be challenging in cold weather where cords become stiff and difficult to manage. This means the user must spend time out in the cold weather fighting with the cords. Inventor Weagle knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he created the Retractable Block Heater Cord!

This clever new invention holds a power extension cord for electrical block heaters. It saves time and effort. It keeps a user out of the wintertime cold. The power cord remains highly flexible; even at low temperatures. The invention can be factory installed or provided as an aftermarket option. For more information act now!
