Inventor Jason A. Rogish of Smithfield, PA has created a quicker, easier, and more effective method of changing out your oil.
When changing the oil in a vehicle, the first step is removing the spent oil already in the motor. Unfortunately, this takes a great deal of time and all you can do is wait. While changing the oil on his 2014 Subaru Crosstrek, Inventor Rogish found himself waiting and waiting for the oil to stop dripping. All the while, he was thinking there had to be a better way. This is when his idea for the RO Tool was born!
The invention is a hand operated oil pump created to propel motor oil out of the drain portion of the motor. Not only will this tool speed up the process, it will ensure that all spent motor oil is pushed out and eliminated, so as not to contaminate the fresh oil that will be put in. The tool is simple to use and easy to manufacture. It will not harm the engine in any way.
