Story Behind the Invention

Inventors Bruce G. Ellis and Janet C. Ellis of Kingston, GA have created a combination cooler and tackle box that includes a compartmentalized utility box, having a cooler section and a caddy section.

The list of equipment that is necessary to enjoy and succeed at fishing can seem endless. All of the supplies that an individual is forced to carry sometimes creates a burden that can spoil the enjoyment, calmness, and simplicity that is associated with fishing. While a tackle box provides a great means of organizing materials and supplies, depending on the users methods and intent, a cooler must be carried separately. These two devices already occupy the available hands of a single fisherman, not to mention additional needed items such as rods and chairs. Inventors Ellis have created a means for conveniently transporting a variety of important fishing items.

This clever new invention is one unit. It holds fishing rods, tackle box accessories, drinks, live bait, and the like. It has trays and drawers for storage. A cushion seat is provided on the cooler. The device is easy to transport. The use of the Cooler and Tackle Box takes the stress out of carrying multiple items in a manner which is quick, easy, and effective.
