Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Lee-Ann Shewchuk of Grand Marais, MB has designed a device that isa wheeled mobile tool chest with multiple size compartments for all types and sizes of tools and supplies.
Rolling tool boxes do an ideal job of organizing hundreds of small tools. Their mobility allows the tools to be rolled directly to the work site in order to save time from trips to and from the toolbox. However, their design is optimized for use with hand tools such as drills and circular saws. Likewise, small tools or supplies tend to get lost and fall to the bottom. Thus, while hand tools can be taken right to the job site, tools that are very large, or items that are very small require frequent trips back and forth. Inventor Shewchuk has created a means by which all types of tools and supplies can be transported in a rolling toolbox format without losing items or frequent trips.
This clever new invention has a telescoping handle, folding trays, and front and rear tool pouches. It is impact resistant and has locking recessed caster wheels. The use of the Portable Tool Chest provides storage and organizational capabilities for all types of tools and supplies, both large and small, in a manner which is not only quick, easy, and effective, but improves productivity as well.
