Story Behind the Invention

Inventor William F. Robinson of Greenriver, WY has created a bone saw with a removable serrated blade and rechargeable power supply. Cutting through the bone structures of game animals has never been quicker, easier, or more effective!

The idea was born while sitting in a hunter safety course with his youngest son. As Robinson watched the class go through different stations, he noticed the kids were struggling with the game care and processing station. He realized there had to be a better way to take care of game in the field. Finally, it hit him a small reciprocating bone saw made for this very application. In that moment, this clever new invention came to life!

At a glance, The Boner is a cross between a small reciprocating saw and an electric carving knife. It is lightweight and cordless. It can be worn on a hunters belt or carried in a backpack. Users will be able to recharge it at home or in a vehicle. This will be ideal for children and adult hunters alike.

Additional Information

Equipped with a locking device, the hunter has the option to lock the blade in a fixed position when needed, or if the charge dies, making this the only saw of its kind to be able to be used mechanically or in a fixed position. The Boner is also equipped with an inner water resistant bladder and separate flash light for use in darker visual conditions. It is lightweight and comes with its own carrying case made for a backpack, or can clip onto the users belt, making this saw truly a one of a kind, must have piece of equipment in the field.
