Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Andy Manuel of Fort McMurray, AB has created a device that provides motorcycle riders the ability to carry a passenger in front of him or her and use handlebars and foot pegs for safety.

As a motorcycling enthusiast, Inventor Manuel wanted his kids to get the same experience he feels while riding. At the same time, of course, he wanted to ensure they were safe. This led to the creation of the Kid Bars!

This clever new invention is a rider safety system. By having a child passenger sit in front, the parent can be more comfortable with the safety of the child more so than if the child was seated behind them. This also allows for a more comfortable riding experience. Parents feel more secure. Children get to enjoy a ride thats more exciting. The bars are easy to install and remove no tools required.
