Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Steven A. Nelson of Lakeside Park, KY has developed a new beverage holder specifically created for use on squat and power racks!

Although stationary bikes and treadmills typically provide cup holders, they are strangely absent from squat and power racks. This means drinks are simply placed on the floor until needed. Because of this, like many, Steven has knocked over his pre-workout drink or his protein shake mid-workout while squatting or using the power rack. Not only does this create a mess, cleanup takes away valuable time from ones workout. After seeing this happen time and time again, Steven just knew there had to be a better way. In turn, he created the Drink Defender!

The invention keeps drinks off the floor and out of the way, so you wont have to waste time cleaning up messy spills in the middle of a workout. Whether you are drinking from a shaker style cup, beverage bottle, or energy drink can, the invention will secure your drink until you are ready for it. The holder is easily installed and removed from a squat or power rack within seconds. Various colors are possible.
