Inventor Stephanie Fifer of Centralia, MO has designed an innovative new cover for a walking boot.The idea was born after spraining her foot. As a hair stylist, Stephanie quickly realized she needed to find a way to keep hair out of her walking boot. In turn, she was inspired to develop the Cover Cast! She knew a product like this would be ideal for anyone on-the-go who must also be in a walking boot as they heal.At the beginning of each day, the cover is simply placed inside and overtop of a boot. Not only will this help the boot stay clean, the butter-soft material of the cover will keep ones leg cool and comfortable to prevent sweating and infection. A pocket on the side was designed for holding a phone, keys, or other small items. The cover is also machine washable for convenience.
