Inventor Loren Barker of Pratt, KS has created a device for putting on compression stockings or socks without struggle!

Many people may have difficulty reaching or bending down to place a compression stocking or sock on their foot. This may be due to back problems, arthritis, age, or as a result of a recent surgery. Unfortunately, some assistive devices already on the market are difficult to use. Some require a user to pull with enough force to put on the sock or they use straps which can be difficult to reach and hold onto. This clever new invention is a metal frame that stretches a compression stocking over the toes to help get it upon the foot. Inventor Barker knew that getting a sock upon the toes is the most difficult part. The device is easy to maneuver. It is ideal for those with restricted movement.
