Story Behind the Invention

Inventor Jorge A. Saucedo of Los Angeles, CA has designed a new reusable drink cover that offers numerous benefits.

While working on his cars on the weekend, barbequing, or drinking beer with the family, one thing Jorge always hated was having to throw away full beers due to insects wandering in and out of his drink. He started to cut off leaves, or put napkins or cardboard over his beverage, but the wind would always blow these items off and he was back to square one again. Jorge then decided what he needed was a reusable cover. Now, his Can Cover has been fully developed and is ready for market!

The invention simply slides underneath the aluminum tap that opens the canned beverage and freely rotates to cover and uncover the opening where you sip your drink. Not only will the cover keep insects out, it will block drinks from spilling if they are accidentally knocked over. It will also keep others from drinking out of your can, preventing the spread of germs and viruses, which everyone knows is so important these days. Kids around? The invention keeps alcoholic beverages covered when children are present. Each cover is reusable and easy to clean.
