Inventors Tim Gossett and Robert Remmert of St Charles, MO have created a system and method by which to track arrows that have been shot by a bow.

When a hunter strikes their game, he or she is often faced with subsequent tracking of the animal as it can live for several hours after being hit, depending upon the accuracy of the hunters shot. When this occurs, several things could happen. The game could run so far and so fast that the hunter never catches up to it or the wounded animal could be attacked by other wild animals, ruining the meat. Instances have been known to occur where other hunters come upon the wounded game, and claim it as their own. Unfortunately, these occurrences are quite frequent when dealing with bow or cross-bow hunting situations. Furthermore, these problems become even more common when the hunter is hunting at dusk, dawn, or in cloudy/foggy situations where visibility is limited. Arrows are becoming increasingly expensive and loss of an arrow can be a very costly proposition. Inventors Gossett and Remmert have created a means by which hunters can track their arrows in a quick and accurate manner.

This clever new invention eliminates lost game and arrows. It is ideal for dusk, dawn, or other dark conditions. Transmitters fit onto each arrow. The invention uses GPS technology and a smart phone application. It avoids unnecessary game animal suffering.
